Azerbaijani Caspian Shipping Company ships continue to carry cargo to Kazakhstan, Trend reported, referring to company spokesperson Mehman Mehdiyev.

“In the event of a negative impact of the situation on the transport of goods, corresponding measures will be taken,” he said.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has canceled flights to the city of Almaty in Kazakhstan.
The decision was taken on the destabilization of the situation in Kazakhstan. Money and a new free reservation for those who bought tickets for the flights will be offered.
A reminder that the Baku-Almaty flight was operated by AZAL weekly on Fridays while the Almaty-Baku flight – on Saturdays.
Amid rising fuel prices, large protests broke out on January 2 in parts of Kazakhstan. It should be noted that public protests are illegal in the country unless their organizers file a notice in advance. More than 200 people were arrested during the protests.
The Kazakh authorities have declared a state of emergency following the illegal demonstrations. On January 5, the Kazakh president accepted the resignation of the government. The curfew is imposed in the region of Almaty and Mangistau, and entry and exit from these territories is prohibited.
The CSTO Collective Security Council has decided to send the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces to Kazakhstan.
In addition, by order of the President, Kazakhstan will introduce state regulations on the prices of liquefied gas, gasoline and diesel for 180 days.
