Center awarded $5,000 for refugee transportation services

UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – Excellus BlueCross BlueShield recently awarded the Mohawk Valley Resource Center for Refugees (The Center) a $5,000 Community Health Award to support transportation assistance for various communities.

This program provides access to transportation for refugees, immigrants and newcomers to Centro bus passes in the Mohawk Valley region, allowing them to use transportation programs to get to work, appointments you medical and/or mental health services.
