Johnson Matthey Appoints Chief Executive Officer of Catalyst Technologies

Johnson Matthey (JM), a global leader in sustainable technologies, has appointed Alberto Giovanzana as Managing Director of Catalyst Technologies.

Alberto joins JM from BASF, where he was most recently senior vice president and head of global technology for the € 2 billion Nutrition and Health business. Previously, Alberto led BASF’s Plastic Additives business in Europe, Middle East and Africa and also held various marketing and operations positions.

The world depends on fuels and chemicals. They are among many products essential to modern life, from clothing and cleaning products to food packaging, medicines, transportation fuels and building materials. Today, most are made from fossil fuels.
