Myers engineering company expands with acquisition | Business Observer

Johnson Engineering Inc., based in Fort Myers, has acquired Marco Surveying & Mapping. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition, according to a statement, will add 11 experienced surveying and mapping personnel to Johnson Engineering’s team, in addition to records and surveying equipment. David Hyatt, Founder and President of Naples-based Marco Surveying & Mapping, and his team will transition to the Johnson Engineering family and work from the company’s Naples office.

“Lately it has been difficult to find help and keep up with demand,” Johnson Engineering President Lonnie Howard said in the statement. “David and his team, along with their knowledge, experience, equipment and records, will greatly enhance our ability to provide surveying and mapping services to our clients in Collier County and surrounding areas. This will also free up additional resources in our other offices. »

This purchase, the release adds, aligns well with Johnson Engineering’s business strategy to “build and maintain our leadership position in our markets as the preeminent provider of engineering-related services, exceeding our customers’ expectations. and solving their problems with responsive and innovative solutions. ”
