Penn State Athletics and Transportation Services Announces Parking Changes for Non-Football Events

Penn State Athletics and Transportation Services announced Monday parking changes for all non-football sporting events.

Beginning Monday, August 23, all non-football related events will require a valid permit or payment of applicable parking fees for campus grounds. By following Transportation Services guidelines, fans with Penn State University Park Permits will be able to park for free at non-football sporting events.

If you don’t have a permit, you can pre-pay for parking here. This reduced rate is available until 11:59 p.m. the day before the event.

Here is the parking information for all non-soccer sporting events:

Baseball, Basketball, Field Hockey, Hockey, Lacrosse, Football, Softball, Track & Field, BJC Wrestling Matches

  • Parking spaces: Jordan East, Stadium West, Porter North
  • Prepaid ParkMobile parking rate: $5.50 per vehicle
    • Season parking packages available for most sports
  • Day of the event-Free parking Price: $10 per vehicle
    • Cash only for Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, and Men’s Hockey, as well as all other track and field events in this region when they coincide with Bryce Jordan Center and Pegula Ice Arena events
    • Higher rates may apply when athletic events coincide with non-athletic events at Bryce Jordan Center and Pegula Ice Arena. Rates vary and will be announced before each event
  • $1 per hour parking also available on the east deck for most events

Gymnastics, Volleyball, Wrestling

  • Parking: Pitches Nittany Bridge, West Bridge
  • Prepaid ParkMobile parking rate: $5.50 per vehicle
    • Season parking packages available for most sports
  • Day of the event-Free parking Price: $10 per vehicle (ParkMobile or pay station)
  • $1 per hour parking also available on the east deck for most events

Other events

Cross country: Parking at $1 per hour at the West Bridge

Fencing: $1/hour parking at the HUB bridge

Swimming and Diving, Tennis: $1 per hour at East Bridge
