Rotary Club of Sarasota Introduces New Cargo Trailer to Mayors’ Feed the Hungry Program

The coast of the gift

The Rotary Club of Sarasota is proud to present a trailer to the Mayors Feed the Hungry program as a gift at 1:00 p.m. this Wednesday in front of the Marina Jack Restaurant located on the Sarasota Bay front in downtown. As part of their commitment to community service, The Rotary Club of Sarasota supports the mayors’ efforts to provide food assistance to those in need in our local community. This trailer will help the Mayors Feed the Hungry program by providing a place to store and transport needed items during food drives and fundraising events. It can also be used to pick up and deliver food donations to our local food pantries. “The trailer provides us with a valuable resource,” said Scott Biehler, Executive Director of Mayors’ Feed the Hungry. “Now we will have a central location to store our tables, tent canopies, collection boxes, etc. instead of being scattered in the garages of our volunteers. The beautiful signage on the trailer will be a traveling billboard helping to raise awareness for the Mayor’s Feed the Hungry program and the Rotary Club of Sarasota.
