Herrera welcomed its first outside member to its Board of Directors, Amy Marasco. With over 30 years of experience in environmental policy and management, Marasco is a nationally recognized expert, working with clients on effective strategic planning, marketing, communications and organizational redesigns. She coaches leaders from the public, private and associative sectors in the development of business and communication strategies, mergers and acquisitions and organizational and cultural transformations.

Marasco is currently president of ReThinkIt Associates, a small, women-owned management consulting firm specializing in strategic planning, communications, and organizational effectiveness. She is also known for her mentoring work with small businesses and MWBEs. Marasco co-founded and served as CEO of a 350-person IT and environmental management company. In this role, she managed multimillion-dollar U.S. federal government contracts with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Departments of Transportation, Energy, Defense, Agriculture, and Interior. She has also led high profile acquisitions, successfully negotiating the sale of a $50 million business to a Fortune 100 company. In addition to her experience as a management and organizational consultant, Marasco is the founder of The Nature Generation, a non-profit environmental organization committed to educating young people about environmental stewardship. She also served as Vice Mayor of the City of Hillsboro, Va., where she focused on award-winning infrastructure projects including pedestrian safety and transportation, drinking water, storm water and water. worn out.

Herrera also hosted Lisa Moore to the team as Director of Human Resources based in the company’s Seattle office. Moore brings 15 years of human resources experience, working with organizations in the United States and abroad to execute business strategies and meet individual needs. She brings extensive knowledge of best practices in human resources, including compensation and benefits, recruitment, onboarding and employee relations.
